Philosophy: Self-care is a rarity in todays fast paced world, make time for you.
Why I do what I do: Like most adults (90% on average) I suffered from headaches. These headaches would build into migraines and disrupt my life for days at a time. Medicine would help mask the pain but I sought relief. I found that through the care of a wonderful and skilled massage therapist who helped me to recognize the beginning stages of muscular tension (compensation patterns & twinges before the pain would start) and through massage, received the help I needed to relieve the tension. I finally found relief from the grappling effects of headaches.
A little bit about me: I am an active mother of 3 amazing boys and happily married to my college sweetheart. We live on a farm and as a family passionately advocate for agriculture. I feel grounded when I work in our large garden and love providing fresh food for our family. I carry this ideal over into my massage practice by using all plant based lotions and oils. I find that my two passions (Massage Therapy & Agriculture) go hand in hand in philosophy and practice.
